Last week, we took the kids to Spomenik Park for a few hours. This park is also in our town and is older than the park that is within walking distance of our home. It is usually less crowded and has more room for my kids to run - which is something they both love to do!

One of my favorite singers is Steven Curtis Chapman. I love his new song "Cinderella" and he has great video with this song. If you would like to see the video, click here. Enjoy!

We saw a bit of snow today! It didn't stick to the ground and by the afternoon the sun came out. But it was still pretty to watch. Unfortunately, we couldn't get out much today because Samantha wasn't feeling well. I think it's just a 24-hour bug and by lunchtime today she was even eating some crackers. We made her a little bed on the floor; I didn't want to wash those crib sheets! We kept her in her room, but she kept calling for Caleb, "Kaba! Kaba!" She didn't understand why they had to be separated. I'm glad that she seems to be feeling better!

Here are a few more pictures from the tournament and one of Samantha and her buddy Abigail in a flower patch.

Also on Sunday, the Cacak Angels baseball club hosted a youth baseball tournament. Six teams participated, and the Cacak Angels took home third prize. Tim got to hit the ceremonial first pitch! :-)

This past Sunday, we celebrated Easter together as a team. It was nice to sing familiar Easter hymns and to hear about our different family traditions at Easter. The guys even took a dare to try a popular Serbian drink (non-alcoholic!) called Kvas. But my favorite memory would be when we shared the Lord's Supper together. After drinking my grape juice, I thought to myself, "That's nice that Karl and Julie have real communion plastic cups like the ones back at my home church." But after taking a closer look, I realized that my cup was actually a medicine cup! I had to smile because sometimes that's what life is all about - you just have to improvise!

This past Sunday, the guys split up into two teams and had a practice game. Ziza took care of Samantha while she was napping so I could watch them play. Dusan and Milos also came with us to cheer them on. The Cacak Angel Warriors have their first game at the end of this month.

Thanks Mimi and Papa for the Easter candy and books!

My dad has been in the hospital now for a few days because of heart-related problems. Mom and Amber are taking good care of him, but it's hard to be away right now. Please remember my dad in your prayers. Thanks so much!

This past Tuesday, our dear friend Ziza celebrated her birthday. We took her out to eat, and we really enjoyed spending time with her on her special day. Samantha refused to eat anything but bread; she kept asking for birthday cake.

A few more pictures from this past Sunday. Natalie and Hayley have become a very special part of our team.

This past Sunday, the Bible studies met at our home and we had a great time together. Natalie and Hayley did a great job coming up with some games for us to play.

Here they come!

Here is our teammate Josh and his son Dayne.

We are back from our retreat, and we had a great time. I really enjoyed the ladies' retreat in Dubrovnik. Our family also had a great time in Slovenia. Here are a few pictures from the pool.

We continue to enjoy the gorgeous weather, and it's perfect weather for basketball. Here are a few pictures of the guys playing ball together. Tim says they call too many fouls, but I've seen Tim play defense so I'm not so sure.

A few more pictures from Tim's surprise birthday party. He also got some great gifts - including a traditional Serbian hat and a clock with a golf theme.
