The Ladies' Teahouse is now open to the public! Natalie and Hayley have done an outstanding job repainting the English Club and rearranging furniture. It really looks great and much more welcoming. We're so excited about this new opportunity and hope that many Serb ladies will come to the teahouse during the week.

Another beautiful day outside. We met some friends at the park, and the kids had a great time. And yes, Caleb decided to walk through the water so he could play on the "island" (his father's idea). Sadly, I pretended I didn't know him or Tim. Samantha and I decided to throw rocks in the river in a different place so I didn't have to watch.

Last weekend, the guys were practicing football in the snow and we enjoyed some sledding. This weekend, we had sunny skies and springtime weather. We played soccer, Caleb made friends with a ladybug, and Samantha blew bubbles.

Samantha agrees to pose for a few pictures.

Here are some pictures of the guys practicing in the snow. Doesn't this look like fun?

The snow was also perfect for making snow creme; a Sharpe family favorite. We wish we could have saved some for you, Granddaddy Howard. Caleb said that it's his favorite thing to eat too.

On Saturday, snow began to fall. Earthquake on Friday & snow on Saturday - it's been an exciting weekend! The snow was really beautiful but not much fell. Tim thinks we have about two inches of snow. We went to another park in our town and enjoyed some sledding. Caleb had a blast, and Samantha had fun walking around in the snow. It always surprises me how much she loves walking in it.

On Friday, an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was experienced/hit our town around 6 p.m. I'm not sure of the terminology when it comes to earthquakes; I'm from North Carolina! This was the strongest earthquake we have felt since coming to Serbia. We were all at home, and there was no damage. The power was out for exactly two hours. After getting over their fright, the kids loved playing with the flashlights. Samantha kept saying, "Birthday, Mommy!" because of all the candles and wanted to blow them out. I thought ping-pong night might be in jeopardy; the guys usually come over around 8 p.m. But at exactly 7:59 p.m., the lights came on and around 15 guys arrived ready to play.

These are a little out of order, but I always need Tim's help with loading videos. We actually had some snow fall on Saturday. Here are a few videos of our sledding adventures.

Let's go to the park and play! Samantha seems to be thinking, "Should I slide or not?"

Football, anyone?

Caleb seems to be thinking about his plans for the day. With Caleb, you can always count on the noise level being a little louder than normal, lots of action, and tons of fun. He has the "fun gene" in our family, and he usually goes non-stop from the time he wakes up until he crashes at night. Games of football (inside and outside), ping pong, go fish, you name it. He's also getting taller again and eating more all the time. Where did the time go?

On Super Bowl Sunday, some of Tim's friends came over to watch the big game together. They arrived at 10:30 p.m., and the game lasted until 4:30 a.m. Seven of the nine guys were happy with the outcome of the game, but two wanted to see the Patriots win it all. I honestly never heard them while I was sleeping until the winning touchdown was scored. I think it will be Super Bowl Tim will always remember.
