It's Sunday afternoon here. We've been in Cacak now for 5 days. We are all doing well and are adjusting to life far away from home. We moved into our house on Thursday after spending the first two nights here with the Bannerts. The house is great! We are about half way through unpacking, and our landlady is also about that far along as she packs up her things to move out of the house. I think her and her husband own multiple houses and are planning to now live in what was formerly their vacation house. I'm not sure though. Communication with her is hard since her English is even worse than my Serbian. We have a dial-up connection here now and are hopeful to have our high speed connection some time next week. That will make communication much easier. Yesterday we had a baseball practice and about 10 kids showed up to play. Chris and I then walked over to the basketball court and showed off our American skills to some of the locals. I actually think they took it easy on us since it was my first time there. This afternoon we went out exploring around the town for a few hours. We found a great park only about a 10 minute walk from our house. I'm going to attempt to post some pictures we took on our Flickr page. The picture above is us sitting at the picinic table under the shelter in our backyard. Thank you so much for your prayers. We can definitely feel them. God continues to prove Himself to be faithful even through this time of massive transition. We look forward to hearing from you either through email or through our Vonage # once it is up and running later this week. We miss you guys!
