We had a chance to go to Zlatibor (a nearby mountain about 1.5 hours from Cacak) last weekend with some of our Serbian friends. We had a great time. Don't be fooled by the snow. It's actually been really warm here in Cacak. Everyone keeps telling us that the cold weather will come though (so don't worry Philip).

Here's a picture of the slopes at Zlatibor. It looks like a great place for beginners to learn to ski. We hope to go back soon to give Caleb a chance to start to learn.

I'm not sure what Caleb is doing here but he sure looks guilty of something!

We went for a long walk to see everything Zlatibor has to offer, and since I forgot to pack the stroller, I had the joy of carrying Samantha the whole time.

Here's Caleb pulling his sled back up to the top of the hill.

Caleb and Samantha enjoy taking a ride on the sled.

A Special Serbian Christmas Eve
On January 6, a dear family invited us to celebrate Christmas with them. Jelena (our language teacher) and her family made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious (your mouth will water when you see the picture below), the kids were spoiled and want to visit again soon, and Tim and I enjoyed every minute. It was one of my most favorite days since moving to Serbia.
