This past Sunday, we celebrated Easter together as a team. It was nice to sing familiar Easter hymns and to hear about our different family traditions at Easter. The guys even took a dare to try a popular Serbian drink (non-alcoholic!) called Kvas. But my favorite memory would be when we shared the Lord's Supper together. After drinking my grape juice, I thought to myself, "That's nice that Karl and Julie have real communion plastic cups like the ones back at my home church." But after taking a closer look, I realized that my cup was actually a medicine cup! I had to smile because sometimes that's what life is all about - you just have to improvise!
